ST. JOHN'S, Antigua:

President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency Chief Olusegun Obasanjo will on Tuesday morning pay a visit to Antigua and Barbuda on the invitation of Prime Minister the Hon. Baldwin Spencer.
President Obasanjo who has just concluded an official visit to Trinidad and Tobago agreed to meet with Prime Minister Spencer on his way back to Nigeria.
While in Antigua, the President and his delegation will meet with Governor General Sir James Carlisle and Prime Minister Spencer and his Cabinet.
Upon arrival at the V. C. Bird International Airport, President Obasanjo will take the salute by a Guard of Honour comprising members of the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force and the Royal Antigua and Barbuda Police Force. He will also be greeted by members of the Diplomatic Corps.
Prime Minister Spencer noted that he along with his Cabinet will take the opportunity to establish a closer relationship with the Federal Republic of Nigeria and discuss matters of international and regional concern to both countries.
Prime Minister Spencer said that he will also discuss direct airlift between Africa and the Caribbean and matters concerning petroleum products.
President Obasanjo who is accompanied by a delegation of 37 government officials including Ministers of Government will depart Antigua on Tuesday afternoon.
