Prime Minister the Hon. Baldwin Spencer on Saturday in Atlanta Georgia USA recorded a tourism promotional clip which will be aired on the United Negro College Fund "An Evening of Stars" on January 7th and 8th.

The annual four hour televised fund-raiser which assists in increasing minority degree attainment by providing financial support to its 39 member institution and reducing financial barriers to college, will be aired on over 62 television stations across the United States including CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX.

During the appearance Prime Minister Spencer will speak about Antigua and Barbuda as a major tourist destination and what his government has been doing to the improve the country's economy. Prime Minister Spencer will also outline the benefits of the newly inaugurated Delta twice-weekly flights into Antigua and Barbuda.

The appearance of Prime Minster Spencer on the UNCF "An Evening of Stars" is seen as a major tourism promotion drive by the government which will result in an increase in visitors from the North American market.

The UNCF An Evening of Stars which will honour musical sensation Stevie Wonder will also feature Yolanda Adams, Fantasia, Donnie McClurkin, Lou Rawls, Toni Braxton, actor-director Robert Townsend, comedian D.L. Hughley and rapper Doug E. Fresh.
