As the countdown begins for Antigua and Barbuda's International Music Festival "Romantic Rhythms", the Festival Committee has announced that tickets will go on sale as of Thursday May 15, 2008.

Tickets are now available for sale from the following locations within Antigua; all Cable and Wireless outlets, all ABI Financial Group of Companies outlets, LIAT 1974 Ltd at the Woods Mall, Deluxe Cinema on High Street, and The Ministry of Tourism Headquarters on the Queen Elizabeth Highway.

Tickets prices range from USD$50 general admission to USD$125 VIP All Inclusive, and can also be purchased online at www.antiguamusicfestival.com>.

Although ticket prices are quoted in United States Dollars, the Eastern Caribbean Dollar equivalent; which is converted at a rate of 2.70 ECD for 1 USD will be accepted at all ticketing outlets.

Patrons are being advised to purchase tickets early to secure their place in the venue and to be eligible for a chance to win numerous prizes that will be raffled at the concerts.

These prizes are inclusive of a Chevrolet Captiva SUV, a diamond engagement ring valued at over USD$75,000 and watches valued at over USD$25,000.

Romantic Rhythms will take place from June 12 - June 15 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. Among the impressive line up of internationally recognized artistes are Grammy award-winning singer, Lionel Richie and prolific country music singer and actor Kenny Rogers.

Brian McKnight, Keyshia Cole, Shaggy, Maxi Priest, Destra Garcia and the Atlantik band; an exciting line-up of local performers, such as El A Kru featuring Tizzy, Taxik featuring Claudette Peters, and the Burning Flames will also perform.
