The Antigua and Barbuda Romantic Rhythms Music Festival scheduled to take place from June 12 - 15 is just days away.

In addition to the impressive slate of regional and international acts, a number of home grown Antiguan artists are set to perform in the region's premier romance music festival.

These include Gemonites, Halcyon and Hell's Gate Steel Orchestra's, Kings Short Shirt and Swallow backed by the Fungi Band, Onyan and the Burning Flames, El-A-Kru featuring Tizzy, Taxik featuring Claudette Peters, Rawdon & Faye Edwards and Lacu Samuel and Friends.

Songstresses Flora Haywood and Shermain Jeremy will also render Romantic Rhythms, as well as the St. John's Cathedral Youth Choir among others.

Local DJ's: Undercover, Tanny and No Limit and the ever popular Chickie's Hi-Fi are also part of the exciting line up.

"This impressive and dynamic list of performers demonstrates that the Festival Committee and by extension the Government of Antigua and Barbuda is committed to highlighting, promoting, and developing indigenous talent," says Conliffe Clarke deputy chair of the Talent Committee.

He adds, "We have captured the past, present, and future stars of Antigua and Barbuda in this line-up and this was specifically done to expose to the world the talent that we have to offer in our twin island nation."

This line-up will compliment the cast of regional and international performers namely Grammy award-winning singer, Lionel Richie and prolific country music singer and actor Kenny Rogers.

Damian Marley son of the Late Bob Marley as well as Grammy Nominated Brian McKnight, Grammy Nominated Keyshia Cole, Tony Award Winner Heather Headley, Musiq Soulchild, Maxi Priest, Shaggy, Regional Artist Destra Garcia and Atlantik Band, are also slated to perform.
